HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A MAKE UP KIT

HOW TO PUT TOGETHER A MAKE UP KIT FOR STARTING MAKE UP ARTIST! This is a question that has been asked from the dawn of time, How do you put together a make up kit. The answer is simple, however it can be expensive at times, but if you enjoy your craft, you must invest in yourself. Here are the essentials needed in any make up kit: -Antibacterial Soap, to sanitize your hands before working on your client/model etc. -Skin care-Cleanser, toner, moisturizer With skin care, because each person is different, you want to at least have one oil free moisturizer for your clients that have oily skin, and a hydrating moisturizer for your clients that have dry skin. -Make Up Wipes -Foundations- You will need to have a variety of foundations for every skin tone. -Concealers- You will need to have a variety of concealers for every skin tone. -Setting Powder/Translucent powder -Lip gloss/Lipsticks: With your lip colors, you want to make sure you always have a clear gloss, at least three to four natural lip shades, and at least three bold lip colors. Lip colors that are always mandatory in your kit: Clear Gloss, & Red. -Eyeshadow Kit- You want to get a eyeshadow pallette that has a variety of colors, so you want have to carry a million single shadows in your kit. -Blush- Make sure you have at least 3 natural blushes, 2 contouring blushes, 2 bold blushes -Lipliners- Make sure you have at least 3 natural lip liner colors, & 2bold lip liners -Mascara & disposable mascara brushes -Make up wedges -Quality brushes -Paper Towels -eyeliners -Lipliner/eyeliner sharpener -Tweezers -Lashes, lashes, & more lashes (a photoshoot is not complete without a pair of lashes) This completes what is needed in a full make up starter kit. Anything else that you may want to add to your kit as you build would be bronzers, shimmer shadows etc, anything that you sets you apart from the next make up artist.
